Share on twitterIn 1938 Fred W. starts working for his father. After World War II , Taylor leaves the company, which is subsequently renamed Hawtree & Son. Since the war, the company's aim is no longer to create jobs, but mainly to design them. In the fifties and sixties they design many jobs in France and Belgium, and in the sixties also many in Spain. In the 1970s they are so famous that they are also brought to the United States and other European countries.

- 1966: Limburg Golf & Country Club in Houthalen

Changes to Killarney in Ireland, expansion of Hillside Golf Club in the US
In the 1980s, Fred W. retired to research and write books. including: 'The Golf Course: Planning, Design, Construction and Management' in 1983.
