Golf Club Würzburg
Staying at the Best Western Hotel Polisina in Ochsenfurt, we had a great starting point this weekend for our golf gents club challenge “playing 5 courses in 3 days”. The “battlefield” located in Franconia, a region of northern Bavaria and state of Germany, sets the beautiful scene.

On this third day we played Golf Club Würzburg eV. About 20 minutes in car from the Hotel and only a few minutes away from the Residenz (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the city center of Würzburg, one of the most beautiful and versatile golf courses in Southern Germany.
From the parking lot, we can clearly see the wedding preparations on the terrace with the spectacular view of the 18th green. Perfect site for matchmaking ;) The office was closed but once again members of these german golf clubs are so helpful and a after a few phone calls we got our scorecards and keys for the buggies.
Driving to the first tee you get that feeling… we’re about to experience something special :) This parkland course, presents itself on a high plateau with historic views. Difficult level must be 8 on a scale from 1-10 - certainly not for beginners.
