Opened in 2008, the Nord Course, which has been known as the Porsche Nord Course since 2018, covers a total of 86 hectares and has been designed to meet the needs of international professional tournaments from the beginning. With its 7,161 m of Champions Tee, it is the longest course on the European Tour and is one of the 10 longest courses in the world.
In addition to the lengths, the element of water represents one of the greatest challenges of the modern and unique Porsche Nord Courses. 17 tracks are designed with water hazards that partially accompany the fairways from the tee, along the beautiful fairways to the green. Bunkers positioned strategically close to the greens challenge every player at the highest level.
According to the course rating of the DGV, the Porsche Nord Course of Champion Tee is the heaviest place in Germany.
At each hole there are four tees available, which offer the right challenge for every skill level.
By hosting 8 international professional tournaments, such as the European Challenge Tour in 2010, numerous experiences have been gained that are constantly being incorporated into the further development of the entire system, in particular the Porsche Nord Courses.
