The Old Collier Golf Club was created for its members, a limited number of individuals who appreciate the traditions of the game of golf and who enjoy each other’s company.
Tucked alongside the Cocohatchee River in the very heart of town, the club is perhaps the best kept secret west of US 41 in North Naples.
Pass through its white wooden gates and wind your way through an allée of native oaks to arrive at the Main House, a perfectly proportioned clubhouse that is evocative of a 19th century Low Country estate home.
The Old Collier Golf Club’s 18-hole championship course was designed by noted golf course architect Tom Fazio. Set in a gently elevated park-like setting, and favored by cooling breezes from the nearby Gulf of Mexico, the Club has no residential real estate whatsoever. It is pure golf.
Tom Fazio’s course design and the Club’s unique single-bag caddy program will encourage many Club members to walk the course, although carts are optional. Club caddies hail from the finest golf clubs in Scotland, England, Ireland and the United States. Tee times are unnecessary.
Only minutes from the center of Naples, the Club has become an environmental sanctuary. Club members share its 267 acres with a wide variety of wildlife, including eagles, osprey, foxes, gopher tortoises and the occasional bull gator.
Membership at The Old Collier Golf Club is a highly personal experience, and anticipation of each member’s preferences is the standard. Facilities are impeccably maintained and continuously upgraded.
Simply put, The Old Collier Golf Club has but one purpose – to provide pure enjoyment of the game of golf for its members.
