It is Langenstein when the moment becomes an experience. Discover one of the most beautiful golf courses in southern Germany.
The championship course - the heart of Langenstein Castle - impresses with its extensive landscape and each one of its own characteristic and unique fairways. Since its inception, Langenstein has hosted various German championships and EPD tour tournaments.
Opened in 1991 and completed in 1992, Langenstein was designed by Rod Whitman, who, with Pete Dye and Bill Core, has built many renowned systems around the world.
"The Lord God must also be a gifted golfer" - with this sentence he described his first impression when he saw the rock valley under the castle with its rustic beauty for the first time. In addition to the unique combination of untouched nature and well-tended fairways, the characteristics of Langenstein undoubtedly include the generous and heavily undulating greens, which are among the most demanding in all of Germany. From the very beginning, Whitman wanted to create a course that was fair for all skill levels but also interesting from a sporting point of view, offering the golfer a wide range of strategic options.
