In 1999, in the hills of the Roman countryside and just 10 minutes from the center of Rome , one of the most famous American architects, PB Dye , created his first European golf course: the Parco di Roma Golf Club . Currently one of the best known and most appreciated realities on the international golf scene.
The eighteen-hole course - par 72, together with the driving range (which has 50 uncovered positions ), is located in the northern area of ââthe capital, between the via Cassia and the via Flaminia. Extending into a setting rich in archaeological and environmental beauties immersed in the tranquility of the Roman countryside. In the succession of holes, the view of the archaeological sites and the dome of St. Peter that appears on the horizon create unforgettable sensations for passionate golfers. In this way, every experience on the green is unique.
At the same time, however, professionals, amateurs and newbies have the opportunity to refine their technique. Each hole is in fact different from the others: some are characterized by white sand bunkers , at first sight very demanding even for the most experienced golfers; others, on the contrary, have wide fairways to play in peace.
The path of the Parco di Roma respects all players who make technique and tactics their strong point. Maximum precision is always required with long irons and great concentration for shots around greens. When on the green, the rolling speed of the ball is enhanced by a turf made of Agrostis A4 , an innovative variety of grass found only on the best courses in the world. Get ready to use every stick and iron in your bag, to apply the entire repertoire of your strokes ”, was the dogma of PB Dye.
Have a good game .
