Inaugurated in 1983, the Bonmont Club offers an 18-hole golf course facing Lake Geneva and Mont-Blanc in a 62-hectare park where hundred-year-old trees stand side by side. A few minutes from Geneva, the area offers a unique panorama and a rejuvenating calm during your golfing days. People with a maximum handicap of 36.0 and who are members of another golf club approved by a federation have the possibility to access the course. There is also the possibility of taking golf lessons from the pros!
Designed in the 1980s by Don Harradine, Bonmont underwent major renovations in 2002 on the eve of its 20th anniversary. Peter Harradine, commissioned for this work, thus put a new touch to the work of his father. Within the framework of a 12th century Cistercian Abbey, the course welcomes you with a total length of 6080 meters for a par 71 in a grandiose environment with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the French Alps. Its altitude of 550 meters and its climate make the course likely to be open all year round.
The signature hole of the Bonmont course is N ° 7, a par 3 of 125 meters (white start) which perfectly reflects the DNA of the Bonmont Club by resting on 3 pillars; history, golf and nature. Indeed, it was built around a historic basin which was used by the Monks of the Abbey. Its frontal basin has become an ecological reserve where the Cardex and many amphibians mingle. Its sloping green protected by 3 bunkers including a Scottish bunker is a real challenge for golfers of all levels.
