The Rhein-Wied Golf Club was founded in 1987. It is excellently located between Koblenz and Neuwied, high above the Rhine at the foothills of the Westerwald and lets you quickly forget stress and time. The hilly topography offers wonderful panoramic views over the Rhine plain to the Eifel and the Hunsrück in many places. With its secluded and quiet location, the course ensures a restful and relaxed round of golf - free from any traffic noise.
The generously designed clubhouse, with its main terrace on the 18th green and a terrace on the 9th green, a guest room with a glass front and a view over holes 17 and 18 to the Rhine plain, invite you to linger. The 18-hole course, sporty, challenging and harmoniously designed, is located above Neuwied between Koblenz and Bonn.
With a length of 5008 m (for women: slope 132) and 5629 m (men: slope 139), the par 72 course with its slightly hilly and varied fairways is a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
The first 9 holes of the course are on the north side of the course. Most of the fairways slope down to the forest to the west, so that the player is often confronted with sloping positions. Forest, rough, strategically well-placed bunkers do the rest and therefore concentration and precision are required all along the line.
