The Graham Marsh Design Course Am Habsberg is the TOP course in the Jura Golf Park south-east of Nuremberg between Neumarkt id Oberpfalz and Velburg and impresses with very large, fast and moderately undulating greens as well as varied and fair fairways.
First and foremost, playing golf should be fun! Graham Marsh built the Am Habsberg golf course with this intention. That''s why the course doesn''t have any transverse bunkers in front of the greens and the fairways don''t have any slopes, but are mostly straight and trough-shaped, so that the ball can be played well after all reasonably good shots.
Three different men''s and two women''s tees per hole leave nothing to be desired in terms of the right challenge.
On June 22, 2002, none other than Colin Montgomerie opened this dreamlike golf course by teeing off with the Golden Ball.
In 2006, the Habsberg also made headlines around the world: Martin Kaymer played his fabulous round of 59 (13 under) here on June 21, 2006 as part of the EPD tour in the second round of the Habsberg Classic (6,482 m, par 72). Par)! Therefore, the Habsberg has long since been published under the heading " You really have to play it!" “ among ambitious golfers.
