The Golf Club Feldafing eV was founded in 1926, making it one of the oldest golf clubs in Germany. From the beginning, the club was synonymous with athletic excellence and outstanding quality. It is very challenging with its narrow fairways and old trees, especially from the back tees. By the orange and blue teas but also golf beginners the entry is made easier. For juniors between 6 and 18, there are special junior tees that allow families to experience the fascination of golf together.
In addition to the exceptionally sporty orientation, the Golf Club Feldafing eV also impresses with its fantastic location against the backdrop of Lake Starnberg and with views of the panorama of the Alps. The course is embedded in the historic Lenné Park, which the well-known garden architect Peter Josef Lenné built 160 years ago on behalf of King Max II of Bavaria in the style of an English garden in all its ecological diversity. In addition to the sporting challenges, the course offers an extraordinary relaxation and recreational value for members and guests of all ages.
The outstanding quality of the course also requires a special degree of care. Under the leadership of head greenkeeper Florian Eska, the greenkeeping team ensures loyal greens, clean fairways and good tees. In close cooperation with the Bavarian Palace and Lake Administration, it is ensured that the strict rules for the preservation of the quality of the integrated natural space are always taken into account. The ecological compatibility of all measures for the care of the entire place enjoys highest priority. The symbiosis between golf and nature is a goal for all those responsible at the Golf Club, who are always striving to reconcile nature''s ecology and wealth with proper care.
