Sand Golf Club opened in 2005 when a couple of enthusiastic entrepreneurs decided to transform an old potato field into one of the Nordic region''s best golf courses. Renowned golf course architects Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest were commissioned to design this unique creation. They were given access to a site with clean sandy soil that provides the ultimate conditions for building a high-class course of the best international USGA standard.
