Båstad Golf Club is a facility with two good courses of a different nature - the traditional Old Course and the challenging New Course. With a good restaurant, well-stocked shop and good training opportunities, Båstad Golf Club is the perfect place for a full day of golf!
Old Course
The Old Course is designed by Hawtree & Taylor and was inaugurated in 1930, at that time as the second 18 hole course in Sweden. The course has many bunkers, ondulating greens and very few water hazards. It is a parkland course which is highly respected of both members and guests. The setting of the course offers very nice views of the Bjäre peninsula and the finish is offen more than you can wish for.
The course has 5 different colored tees, from white to orange.
You can find the toilets at the Club house, at the kiosk after hole 6 & 8 and after hole 15. A defibrilator is found in the reception area.
New Course
The New Course is designed by Tommy Nordström and was inaugurated 1990. It is a park/heatland course with very special character. The course has fast elevated and ondulated greens and beautiful fairways runing through a quite open landscape. With well bunkered green areas and well placed water hazards the cleaner and tactical player will be rewarded.
The New Course has been host for both national and international championships.
The course has 6 different tees, from tee 61 to tee 43.
You can find the toilets at the Club house, passing hole 6 and 13, and at the kiosk after hole 9. A defibrilator is found in the reception area.
