One of the few links courses on the mainland in Schleswig-Holstein takes on the surrounding North Sea landscape in its design and converts this beautiful nature into a sporty and challenging golf course that is really fun, takes the players along and doesn''t let go.
The first hole on our 9-hole course is a par 4 to warm up and get going.
However, the claim changes immediately on the following tracks, which all have their own character and charm. There are always new challenges, especially with a constant companion here – our wind.
Dune grass next to the fairway and partly behind the greens, small groups of trees and the typical Nordic bush roses require a skilful and tactical game and give the course a very special touch.
Many natural waters and an island green accompany you on holes 5 - 9.
This course architecture doesn''t make it any easier to reach our unique clubhouse with the great restaurant ''Meersatt'' after the round with a good score.
If you want to single out and describe one hole at all, then maybe hole 7. The circular pond is bordered by a wide natural reed bank, a wooden bridge opens up the island green for the players and complements the whole architecture to create a really great picture.
At the end, one thinks that the score achieved is just about okay, then comes one last highlight: a beautifully landscaped green, a par 3 wrapped in dunes, directly at the clubhouse, but that also includes a few more shots from wind, dune grass and a treacherous one pot bunker may require.
