Ystad GK was formed in 1930 and elected to the SGF in 1933. Since then, the course at Nybrofältet has developed into a course of the highest class.
Park and seaside feeling - The first nine holes wind out over the Nybro field and cross the Nybroån. Sometimes letting the driver rest in favor of a little shorter and other clubs can be wise as it is often not the length that determines whether you will make a good result. Water occurs on some holes and a tip is to take the help of the golf guide to plan your game.
After 9 o''clock you pass the kiosk/restaurant and it is fine to stop briefly for a coffee, hot sausage, drink or similar.
During the last nine holes you will experience a bit more wind than before. Holes 11 and 12 are really great challenges as the wind often has an impact on club selection. Hole 15 is short and at first glance doesn''t look too difficult and if you stay straight a par isn''t too difficult. However, the hole has a couple of serious bunkers that you should avoid! The newly renovated 18th hole with new bunkers and lovely heather is a pleasant walk up to the clubhouse and a waiting coffee or other drink.
