Where the Bavarian kings´horses were once bred there is now one of the most beautiful and most magnificent golf clubs in Germany and in the whole of Europe (8x the venue of the International Amateur Championships of Germany).
Beginning in 1986, the Dutch golf course architect Joan Dudok van Heel created a unique golf course in the slightly undulating terrain around Gut Rohrenfeld, which meets the playing requirements of all golfer classes. The embedded fairways are lined with over 200-year-old trees in a dreamy park landscape.
The Wittelsbach Golf Club was founded in 1988, the course was officially opened in 1989, and in 1990 our beautiful and magnificent clubhouse was opened – located north of Munich, between Ingolstadt and Neuburg an der Donau – besides the sporting challenge, golfers will find a combination of tradition and natural beauty.
An ancient tree stock in a unique landscape lines the holes. The standard holes are a pleasure, the champion holes covering 6.775 metres a unique sporting challenge.
After their round of golf, the guests can enjoy the impressive culinary arts and the splendid service of our restaurant in the stately clubhouse on the terrace or in the elegant club rooms.
The club runs a small hotel with 25 guest rooms.

SLEEP ROYALLY IN BAVARIA
More and more "city dwellers" are spending their weekends on the Wittelsbach golf course. Lovers of the English country house style in particular will love the 20 single and double rooms in the guest house, which is located near the clubhouse.
The higher officers used to be accommodated in the guest house. All rooms are individually furnished and you immediately feel reminded of the good old days.
