Ledreborg Palace Golf Club is always worth a visit!
Located in the middle of the beautiful raw nature on Ledreborg's grounds is Ledreborg Palace Golf Club. During a round of golf, you will certainly come across pheasants, ducks, geese and maybe even a few deer, which thrive and create an idyll both on and by the course.
The terrain and the course are very hilly, shaped by the last ice age and are also located in one of the 4 Danish national parks. Therefore, much has been done to protect nature and ensure that the golf course blends in with nature.
After a long, challenging and beautiful tour of the 18 holes, you can sit in the beautiful Restaurant Fasaneriet, where members as guests can enjoy a refreshment or a meal before the tour heads home. When the weather permits, you can enjoy the restaurant's highly addictive terrace with a view of the beautiful nature.
The Faldo Course is – as the name suggests – designed by golf legend Sir Nick Faldo. As the only track in Scandinavia, by the way. It is designed as a so-called "inland links" in the English tradition and carries a large number of the characteristics that normally accompany links courses; many deep bunkers, firm and fast greens, undulating fairways and a slightly "disheveled" look due to the nature of the rough. The deep fairway bunkers should be avoided when making your game plan. When you hit one like that, it often results in a loss of punch.
